Her training is extensive. She graduated from Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy with a post graduate course at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cecilia's background of Dental Hygiene gave way for further studies in a proper relationship between muscles of the face, tongue, and throat for correct swallowing.

           She went in 2014 to the first Academy of Applied Myofunctional Sciences (AAMS) Congress in LA with international speakers, talking about how Myofunctional Therapy helped with better outcomes to their patients' treatments and well-being. She took advanced courses in Myofunctional Therapy in 2015 with emphasis on sleep, TMJ disorders, dysfunctional breathing, and posture. Also, in 2016 she took a course in LA, expanding her knowledge in the recognition of tongue ties. She went in March of 2017 to the second AAMS Congress in Chicago to learn more about clinical trials in Myofunctional Therapy at Stanford for evidenced-based research. She took an Orthotropic's course in June of 2018 in Agoura Hills, CA with Dr. William Hang DDS, MSD lecturing.
